Classes, Seminars, and Workshops with Lisa

Private instruction in beginning watercolor, pastel, and mixed media techniques are given in the artist’s studio at 126 East Nicklaus Avenue in Kalispell. Each two-hour session is $65.00, and requires the student to purchase some supplies. For private instruction in your home within 10 miles of Kalispell, the fee is $75.00 for two hours of instruction.

• Cadmium red light
• Cadmium yellow light
• Cadmium orange
• Naples yellow
• Yellow ochre
• Hookers green and/or Sap green
• Cobalt blue
• Ultramarine blue
• Cerulean blue
• Payne's gray
• Cobalt violet
• Alizarin crimson
• Burnt sienna
• Raw umber
• Sepia
• White acrylic-1 tube

Watercolor brushes

• 1" flat brush, also 3/4 " if you can
• Script liner brushes # 2, 4
• Round brushes #8, 12, 14
• A good quality 1 1/2 or 2" latex paint brush from the hardware store
• Toothbrush (hard)

Additional Tools:

• Jones watercolor palette
• Watercolor block, 140 or 300 lb. 11 x 14 or larger
• 2 Single sheets of 300 LB D'Arches cold press paper
• Heavy drawing paper tablet 18 x 24
• Painting support, such as lightweight laminate, plywood, or foamboard.
• Masking tape
• Utility stapler and 5/16" staples
• Sea sponge, paper towels, spray bottle, rubber brayer (roller used in print making)
